This 8 ¾” chalice was made by Timothy Brigden who worked in Albany, New York . Circa 1800. His mark is sometimes found in conjunction with the the marks of S. Stafford, indicating that Brigden, like Peter Young, at times worked for Stafford. He is considered “rare” by Carl Jacobs. The chalice is marked twice, once in the bowl and the underside of the base. The condition is near mint.
