Ashbil Griswold Deep Dish

This 11″ deep dish is characteristic of CT dishes of the period from 1750-1840. This dish was made by Ashbil Griswold, Meriden, CT. He worked from 1802-1842. Much of his pewter post-dated the flatware period. The condition of the pewter and mark is excellent.
