A fine condition 11” deep dish, J-37, by Thomas D. Boardman, Hartford, CT. Although the Boardman group was very successful and worked until the 1870s, most of the flatware was early 19th Century. The use of pewter for eating and drinking waned in the beginning of the 19th Century. The condition of the pewter and marks is very good.
