Blakeslee Barnes was probably a merchant in Philadelphia, PA from 1812-1817. During this time he most likely sold pewter made either by Parks Boyd or Thomas Danforth III. This plate was probably made by Parks Boyd. The central positioning of the mark is typical of Boyds placement. The plate and mark is near mint.
