Crown Handle Porringer

This 5¼” diameter crown handle porringer is from the 18th century as evidenced by the planishing (hammering) on the back of the handle. Based on current information it is felt to be English in origin, but could be American. English porringers tend to be earlier in manufacture than American ones. The condition of this one is essentially mint. It also has an excellent linen (tinkers dam) mark.
