Pennock Type Pewter Porringer

This porringer is unmarked but made by Simon Pennock who worked in East Caln, PA. The diameter of the bowl is 5 ½”. It looks exactly the same as our marked example in our book, Fig. 586. This is one of the few porringers that are characterized by one piece construction rather than having the handle “burnt on.” If displaying a group of porringers, this is a form you will want to have.
