Pewter Plate by David Melville

This plate is 8 ¼” diameter. It is marked by David Melville who worked in Newport, RI, 1755-1793. A good piece for those who want only 18th Century pewter. The condition of the metal is good with strong maker’s marks. We left the small label on which we recognized from the writing of the late John Carl Thomas.
