Pint English Pewter Mug

This mug is not the common style usually found. It is English and 19th Century. “PINT” is stamped by the upper handle juncture. There are owner’s initials finely etched on the upper middle body. We read it as “LPE” but could be wrong. The wider banding and raised base make this a handsome piece. The condition of the metal is very good. We have not cleaned this piece and it retains its soft look without being dark.
